Cheap Flights on Transwest Air are always easy to find. The airline operates both scheduled and charter flights. The airline mainly flies within the province of Saskatchewan. Its headquarters and base are in Prince Albert.
Transwest was founded in 2000 with the combining of two existing airlines, Athabaska Airways and Air Sask.
The airline was founded by a man named Floyd Glass, who was a instructor of military flight during World War II. After the war he came back to Saskatchewan in 1955 and started his own airline, Athabaska Airways, which still exists but is called “Transwest Air.” Glass died in 2000.
