Michigan To Canada

We are planning a trip from Saginaw, MI to Canada the week after Christmas. Just wanting to see which would be the best and most interesting way to go. Whether to go up and into Sault Ste. Marie, or to go over to Niagra Falls. I've never been out of the southeast so it's all new to me, my fiance has family in Michigan. I would love to see some wildlife, bear or moose. We only have about 4 days to spend in Canada, and I have to drive back to GA on the 5th. Please advise. Thanks

Post to see wildlife in Canada

I know this is late and after you've already had your trip, but for others from MI or south of there who want to see wildlife in Ontario.
You want to drive up I-75 into Sault Ste. Marie and travel north of there on highway 17. You probably won't have to go more than 15-20 miles if your good at spotting wildlife thru the woods. You also have to watch for moose and deer crossing or being on the roads. If you hit one, especially a moose with your vehicle, YOU are more likely to get hurt, and the animal killed or need to be killed.

To be safe there are zoos in southern Ontario and in Sault Ste. Marie there is Spruce Haven which does have a variety of animals living on their large farm that you wanted to see.

Enjoy your trip but be safe and alert.
