Where are you travelling to this Summer.

We are sticking around Alberta within 2-3 hours driving from Calgary. For Mother's day we went to Drumheller, but this weekend we are heading for Crimson Lake Provincial Park. If you want the serenity of lake camping but not the hype and crowds of Sylvan Lake then head to Crimson Lake - 5 minutes driving from Rocky Mountain House. There are trails and great camp sites by the lake - lovely place!

My wife and I visited Niagra Falls and Gananoque Ontario on our honeymoon, and experienced the magic of a 1000 Islands cruise. This year we are travelling back to Ontario and spending time in those places once again. We will have our 5 yr. old this time which can only add to the fun. I will visit Boldt Castle for the third time in the past 30 years. Each time new rennovations have been completed and the mystique of the wonderful love story unfolds it's rommance in a different shade. I look forward to visiting the Province which has innvited me personally on their license plates by saying "Yours to Discover".

This summer I am travelling to Europe. I will be visiting Paris, travelling to Amsterdam by train and then to Edinburgh and Belfast. I recently, visited Calgary and Edmoncton but could not imagine staying away from Nova Scotia too long.
This July we are hosting the Tall Ships , Paul MCCartney and Kiss in outdoor concerts and of course our world famous Tattoo . Along with the many festivals and adventure packages there is truley SO MUCH TO SEA.

we are planning to go to Calgary in july if the ticket price is right. In August we are goin to Moncton, New Brunwick.

I will be leaving in june for one month stay in brussels belgium then on to france, paris, normandie and the french riviera for another month.

Train from Ontario to BC, then air back home.

This summer I will be going to the Dominican Republic. Can't wait to see the island, my people and forget about the stress in the big city!!!

We are travelling to Calgary this year but we will be driving not flying. The Airport Taxes are too high. It will cost us a bit more (not much as we drive a Prius) but we can see the country at the same time. I am afraid that the taxes at all three levels of government are slowly strangling air transport in this country. Within five years I foresee that, with the exception of a winter trip down south, most air travel in this country will be for business only. The taxes and improvement fees are often more than the fare itself!
