Unhappy Paying for baggage

Just the thought of having to pay for checking in my baggage makes me shop around for airlines that are more lenient. Not too many around.

no fees for baggage - this would certainly impact on people who travel with children and who need more with them than the average person on business trips.

There should not be any fee put on baggage , with a limit of three bags checked, and one carry-on bag. If you have more than three, then yes there could be a nominal fee.

Re weight concerns

I feel the time is long overdue that passengers should be paying for TOTAL flying weight. That means that the 300 lb. guy (usually anyways) should pay more than the 50 lb child or 100 lb woman(usually). The time has come the passenger and their luggage buy a ticket for the approximate total weight. Maybe 1 to 50 lbs has one price. 50 lbs to 100 has another price and so on. So much a lb- so much a mile. Don`t laugh -. When the smoking debate was raging back in the early 80`s I answered our office survey that the only smoking room allowed should be the parking lot. I was almost run out of the office. Well - guess what!!!
As someone who only weighs 115 lbs - I am so tired of being seated next to the 300 lb guy- by the way who eats none stop ussually junk foot all the way to our destination. I am tired of being charged extra baggage fees for a few lbs or K over my limit and then having to sit next to this overweight clown. with his elbows in my face and spiliing over into my seat!!
