Driving Sightseeing
Canada is so different from coast to coast, anyone travelling from coast to coast would never have enough time to hit a lot of the sights.
Naturally that also depends on what the family is interested in.
If sightseeing is important, British Columbia has more than sufficient beauty, from the Pacific Ocean to the Rocky Mountains, going east, and from fishing to wineries, tourism, etc.
Driving along Highway No. 1, one can see a lot, but it is important to also see the Okanagan Valley, and the Fraser and Columbia Rivers basins, and surrounding regions.
