June 4, 2009 – Day 7

Sleeping In
Seep In! Wow, amazing. Sleeping in a hotel we were able to put our 1 year old in a dark room, the perfect solution to sleeping in. After posting some blogs and relaxing in the morning I called and received the great news that our motorhome's electrical problems were resolved. I do have to say that it is not easy when away from home figuring out how to solve what may seem like simple problems. It was a challenge already to find a place that could help us out at the last minute. I took 3 of the boys with me to give mom a bit of a breather and we headed in a taxi to get our portable home.

June 3, 2009 – Day 6

A Gas Leak?
Our family was happy to get to sleep finally around 10pm after a long day of exciting activities the night before. Around 7 am however our Propane Gas Sensor went off, waking all of us up first thing in the morning. We had anticipated sleeping in a little bit. This was definitely not a good sign.

A Gas alarm is not the way you want to be awakened in the morning. We frantically ran around to check where the leak was. We ran outside and turned off the gas valve but it kept going off! We went from stove to water heater, checked inside and outside...
