17,000 km, 2 month Trip across Canada and the USA
Some people think we are a bit crazy to venture out on a 17,000 km Family Motorhome Adventure with our 6 homeschooled children ranging in ages from 1 to 14. But that is nothing new. I'm used to the stares that I get in the store as people's mouths gape open as they watch me march in with my wonderful kids. The inevitable question is always, “Are they all yours?”
Our Canada and USA adventure is simply an extension of our adventurous life that takes us to places around the world. This time however we are focusing on the amazing place that Canada is. Not only have we wanted to uncover the popular destinations and hidden jewels of Canada but we want to encourage other families to enjoy this wonderful country. Others can take our itinerary by breaking it down into individual provinces or combined any number of provinces into a smaller snapshot of Canada.
From May 30 to the first week in August 2009 we are on the adventure of a lifetime.
