Question Long stay Phuket

I have just come up with the brilliant idea that, next January or February, I would like to try the long stay Phuket holiday. Has anyone done this and, if so, how did it go?

I did this and no problem so far.

Your choice depend on how long you stay are:

Free 30 days visa on arrival that can be extended for 10 days more at the immigration office for 1900 Baht. Everytime you go out of Thailand and come back in you are guetting a new free 30 days visa on arrival, you can do that 3 times on a 12 months period.

Tourist visa for 60 days single entry that you need to get from the Thai embassy or consulate before you go. Good and fast service, $35 CAN fee with 2 pictures (no scan or photocopie) for a 60 days of stay that can be extended for a other 30 days at immigration office in Thailand for 1900 Baht.

Tourist visa for 60 days double entries that you need to get from the Thai embassy or consulate before you go. Good and fast service, $70 CAN fee with 2 pictures (no scan or photocopie) for a 60 days of stay that can be extended for a other 30 days at immigration office in Thailand for 1900 Baht. This double entries visa let you go out and come back in on the same visa inside the 60 days of the visa.
